Spring 2024
The Learn to Play program is designed for boys and girls aged 5-7 years old. Softball programs for girls are offered for ages 8 to 19 years. Local community clubs coordinate the registration of players and the central WSWYSA (Winnipeg Southwest Youth Softball Association) organizes the league, games, umpires and playoffs.
The softball season begins in early May (weather dependent) with the regular season games taking place during May and June. Participants will have two games per week with most teams holding additional practices during the week.
League/Division playoffs typically are held in late June. For those teams that qualify, provincial playoffs commence in early July.
