Did you know?

Corydon Community Centre is a registered charity!

April 1st, 2011 Crescentwood, River Heights and Sir John Franklin Community Centre’s amalgamated to become the Corydon Community Centre. There is a long history at these Centres of providing high quality programming for our neighborhood. The intention of the amalgamation is to work together to become a leader in community based provision of recreation, leisure and wellness programs. We service 34,000 people in our community and after performing a needs assessment we realize there is a definite need for this type of programming.

The Corydon Community Centre has been part of the community for over 60 years. The Centre is partially funded by the City of Winnipeg. However, each year the Centre must rely on fundraising and donations in order to continue to meet the needs of our community.
