The WCSSC program is run under the direction of coaches who have successfully completed National Coaching Certification, and covers both the short track and long track disciplines. Regular ice practices incorporate several components such as warm up, technical focus, warm down, games, healthy competitiveness, and fun. The primary goal is to teach skaters to be competent on speed skates.
Features of the Speed Skating Program
Olympic Style Race Series, coaching, training camps, developmental fun meets, and a variety of competition opportunities at local, provincial and national levels.
Benefits of Speed Skating
