Corydon Spring Hockey

Spring 2026

Corydon Community Centre Spring Skills and Scrimmages is a community based spring program.  A practice plan is sent out each week to the coaches and it is led by parent coaches on the ice.  Please let us know if you can help on ice! This is NOT a Learn to Play Hockey program. You must have played at least one season of organized hockey to be eligible for the spring hockey program.

Group 1:   2019/2020/2021

  • Dates: March 28th to May 10th
  • Each Saturday/Sunday,  times will vary from early morning to early afternoon
  • Format will be ~40 mins skills, ~20 mins scrimmage
    • Same format as U7 hockey with 3 cross-ice games
  • All participants must be able to skate/participate independently,  if you think this may be an issue you should come on ice with your child during sessions until they are independent
  • Some children born in 2019 may be moved to Group 2 based on final numbers / skill level
  • Due to the large number of kids in the program we do not accept friend requests

Group 2:  2017/2018/2019

  • Dates: March 28th to May 10th
  • Each Saturday/Sunday,  times will vary from early morning to early afternoon
  • Format will be:  40 minutes skills, 20 minutes scrimmage on Saturday / Small area games and Half-Ice Scrimmages on Sunday
  • Some children born in 2019 may be moved to Group1 based on final numbers / skill level
  • Some children born in 2017 may be moved to Group3 based on final numbers/ skill level
  • Due to the large number of kids in the program we do not accept friend requests

Group 3:  2015/2016/2017

  • Dates: March 28th to May 10th
  • Each Saturday/ Full Ice Scrimmage Sunday,  times will vary from early morning to early afternoon
  • Format will be:
    • Saturday: 40 mins skills-20 minutes scrimmage 
    • Sunday: Small area games and full ice scrimmage
  • Kids will placed in groups / scrimmages based on matching skill levels
  • Some children born in 2017 may be moved to Group 2 based on final numbers/ skill level
  • Some children born in 2015 may be moved to Group 4 based on final numbers/ skill level
  • Due to the large number of kids in the program we do not accept friend requests

Group 4:  2014/2015

  • Dates: March 28th to May 10th
  • Each Saturday/ Full Ice Scrimmage Sunday,  times will vary from early morning to early afternoon
  • Format will be:
    • Saturday: 40 mins skills-20 minutes scrimmage 
    • Sunday: Small area games and full ice scrimmage
