Fundamentals of Hockey Development

Program Initiative

CCC is utilizing well-known, knowledgeable hockey mentors from our community, in combination with key partners in order to bring quality, affordable skill development programs to our growing players and volunteer coaches.

Program Description

This is not a learn to skate program. This program is for kids who are currently enrolled in hockey and is not a learn to play hockey program. The Program will cover how to effectively practice and teach players the correct fundamentals related to building skills and developing overall play. Areas of focus will include:

• Stride, Recovery & Skating Fundamentals
• Passing & Receiving
• Shooting
• Puck Control & Protection
• Situational Play & Game Awareness
